What a US distributor needs

Terms as US contracts read

Firm terms by week, 90/10 over house nut, aggregate deals and sliding scales, with the percentage settled at approval.

Admission taxes per theater

State, county and city admission tax parts are entered per theater, added up and removed from gross before your terms apply.

Clearance zones

Each theater sits in a zone. A booking warns you when another booking of the same film in that zone and period has clearance.

Coverage by DMA

Theaters carry their DMA, and each film shows which DMAs its bookings cover.

US settlement

House nut, scales and settled terms

DISTmio removes each theater's admission taxes and applies your terms week by week, from firm terms to 90/10 over house nut. At approval you record the settled percentage, and the settlement shows how each week was worked out.

  • Short opening week merged into week one
  • Settled percentage recorded at approval
  • Disputes tracked per settlement
