What a Spanish distributor needs

Ticket tax by region

Each cinema carries its tax: IVA on the mainland, IGIC in the Canary Islands, IPSI in Ceuta and Melilla. The settlement removes the right one before your share.

SGAE / DAMA and whose percentage

The authors' rights line is part of every settlement, and you set whether the rental percentage is the distributor's or the exhibitor's.

ICAA codes and returns

Cinemas carry their ICAA code and your company its ICAA register number. ICAA fixed-width returns are read straight into results.

ICAA ratings

Films carry their ICAA rating per version, printed on booking confirmations, with a warning when a version has none.

Spanish settlement

Regional taxes, worked out per cinema

DISTmio removes the tax of the cinema's region, handles the SGAE / DAMA line and applies your share week by week. Results arrive from ICAA files or per-day cinema reports, and promotional price days are flagged in the settlements they touch.

  • IVA, IGIC and IPSI set per cinema
  • ICAA fixed-width returns read automatically
  • SGAE / DAMA line in every settlement
